With The State of Play being over and no Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DLC reveal, does this mean its over? Well, it quite possibly could be. There are so many reasons it could not be happening and one of the biggest is the Insomniac Games Hack that happened which revealed way too many things and could’ve possibly set the studio back quite a while. There was a DLC reveal in the New Game Plus update in the form of the Dev Menu however that doesn’t mean much either.
Now there could still be a DLC reveal in the future, potentially at The Game Awards on December 12th since its Sony’s 30th anniversary and the Marvel’s Spider-Man Games are one of Sony’s biggest and fastest sellers currently, however worst case we could see a few free DLC suits to come with the PS5 Pro update. I’d say its more likely to see Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC port announcement.
I say to keep your expectations low.
