It’s been a long way since 2006’s The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Horse Armor “DLC.” We graduated from simple skin purchases to in-game currencies, loot boxes, battle passes. The trend does not seem to be slowing down – latest on the market is “pay to play the game early.”
