The HARDEST HITTING Build In Elden Ring DLC [GRIZZLY BEAR Warrior Destroys Shadow of the Erdtree]

the grizzly bear is known for its unrivaled strength and this Warrior possesses the new hardest hitting weapon post DLC and will carry you to victory by pancaking everything he finds now the Anvil Hammer is an interesting weapon if you would go all out and have max levels in every stat it becomes the hardest hitting weapon in the entire game due to its four-way scaling with four different stats however the number of players that would have such a high level character is obviously going to be sparse but you don’t actually need to go that high to get a really high attack rating going the reason for that is because you might mistakenly think that the weapon only scals really well with strength giving it gets a b in strength and a D in faith and an e for intelligence and dexterity now for intelligence and dexterity it is true the scaling is not worth to invest levels in those stats at lower levels so you just want to go at the absolute minimum going there and just get the requirements for Faith however it’s a different story I’ve tested out that even with faith descaling you still get approximately three AR added per level on a plus 10 anal Hammer which approximates the on average three AR added per level from strength but Fate’s scaling is much weaker so how is that even possible well yes strength scales with this weapon harder but it only affects physical damage and faith in this case affects both the physical damage and fire damage of the weapon I have tested it out so even though it’s a weaker type of scaling it affects two types of damage at the same time making it practically match the stronger scaling of strength now is that weird or a bug probably not because in the base game you’ll see similar things happen with weapons like Elenor SP blade which I did a video about by the way where it’s lower scaling stat Arcane in that case would also scale the fire and physical damage of the weapon making it match the scaling of its highest scaling stat dexterity which would only affect physical damage it’s exactly the same thing here and this is really important to understand because now we can just build around the final soft cap of strength which is at level 80 which then in turn can be achieved at 54 strength through a two-handed setup like this and around 5 fade due to the elemental attack rating soft cap of 50 but it gets a bit more complicated in that aspect since the physical part of the Fate scaling for this weapon in particular seems to follow the trajectory of physical damage first major soft capap which is in that case then around 55 so what that basically means is we just have to decide an arbitrarily cut off point right here so basically in short I experimented and discovered a bunch of nonsense when destroying the game with this weapon and you just want get 54 strength and like 51 fi to get over 1,000 attack power and the best results for this weapon at a lower level bracket like level 150 rest of the stats then will look like this fully soft cap in Vigor and a good portion of endurance for the stamina and gear options to get us that incredibly important sustain going now the weapon isn’t just good for its damage but rather a combination of its damage it’s Poise damage that allows you to stance break enemies extremely fast and it’s Ash of war that deals both amazing damage and Bo damage yet again combining the different elements sets up an infinite very hard-hitting stance breaking Loop pretty much hence why for this build we run two of the new DLC talismans the two-handed sword Talisman which increases our damage output just for merely two-handing weapons it’s a nice little gift which we’re definitely going to do and the blade of mergency which increases our damage with 20% every time we get a critical hit for 20 seconds and with this setup we’re pretty much going to get a lot of those juicy crits so we pretty much have that 20% extra damage guaranteed then we supplement those two talism with two sustain related talism to allow us to trade and tank the dragon Crest grel Talisman first of all for that 20% physical damage reduction and the great jarge arsenal the latter mostly because the anval hammer weighs a lot and the Talisman provides us the option to still wield a 51o armor set to resist getting staggered out of our attacks with great defense on top of that on top of the absolute unit in our hands while maintaining a medium equip load and allowing our attrition based play sty now for the DLC Talisman you can get the blade of Mercy Talisman early on in the DLC Zone actually but the two-handed sword Talisman is obtained after quite some progression so to you get that either use The Shard of Alexander or the claw Talisman from the base game both are going to be excellent Alternatives and why you ask well see the weapon has an ash of war that goes by the name of smithing art Spears that is actually extremely good hair versus melenia you can see how spammable this ash of war is and how much hyper armor it gives you while you’re spamming it and even though you’re wielding this colossal weapon that weighs more than a whale the ash of War makes you swing your weapon like it’s made out of feathers giving you a lot of momentum then the ash of War smithing are Spears say that 10 times also has great Poise damage so you stance break your enemies quite fast with it actually really fast and that means you get that juicy 20% extra damage right up the bat in addition to obviously the damage and control you get from critically hitting your enemies as you see the overall damage and control you get with this ash of War just with spamming this ash of War gets ridiculous real fast and that’s just is one element of the build the ash of War has up to three instances of hits if you’re casting it right on top of your enemy but you can cast it preemptively too so it can still hit even if your enemy isn’t near you yet this is a huge benefit in our favor with how fast-paced and mobel some of the bosses get but it’s not just its Ash of War either the jump attacks then they can stance break enemies extremely fast it can literally just be two jump attacks to get the stance break going giving you a lot of momentum in combat giving us the possibility for a critical hit pretty pretty much right away increasing our damage the jump attacks come out fast too so it supplements the already powerful Ash 4 as well as the normal move set of the weapon as it broadens the number of use cases in how you want to build your Poise damage on your enemies for that stance breaking basically just a lot of extra flexibility with these great jump attacks and of course aside from the jump attacks the normal and charged attacks are really nice too with this weapon especially the charged attacks since they hit so hard but you won’t always have the room to get them off and that’s where the other two types of attacks and weapon skills SKS that we just talked about come into play but if you get the charge Stacks well it builds a tremendous amount of poise damage in one go and also of course is going to hit absolutely disgustingly hard ultimately the best strategy for this build is going to be a mix of the three different elements you weave in the ash of War as much as possible when you don’t have a lot of room to normally attack abusing its hyper armor and nature of incredible sustained damage you use the jump attacks then when you need to quickly build up pois damage and deal damage and use the charge attacks when you have an opening as they will be the hard hardest hitting instances of a single hit combining the various elements will lead to you absolutely destroying your enemies because you will stance break them over and over while dealing great damage two final aspects then before we get into the destruction of the DLC bosses are the flask of wers physic We Run The Stone Bar Crystal tier a logical choice for our first Crystal tier which will make us stance break even faster and the spiked crack tier to boost our charged attacks with 15% extra damage alternatively you can run the opine hard tier here for some extra defenses as well armor is then going to be the Pelt of raava the shadow militia Man armor the Black Knight gauntlets and the graves of solitude pushing us over that PO threshold but also more important of course it fits the color pattern and contrast of our weapon making my choices here an absolute nuclear thematic option all right let’s get into the fights then starting off with what is usually going to be the first encounter the dancing lineon himself well after today it won’t be dancing any longer honestly the ash of War here is absolutely goated especially for these type of bosses that just move all around the place as you can get all three instances of the hits of The Ash of War quite easily in with the area that the ash of War covers which then leads into a lot of damage quickly and a quick stance break early on as well just look at this damage we’re already setting up for the critical hit and after that it’s game over for the dancing lion Rana the twin moonight is next up we Zone her here with the as War as much as possible and you see even if you don’t Spike her from beneath the movement patterns of these bosses will still end up letting them eat the damage anyways in a lot of different scenarios as well by the way which is why this ash of war is honestly one of the strongest of the new ashes of wars in my opinion it is really its nature of providing really good sustained damage Rana then gets St broken faster than you can count to three as you just saw you pretty much kill her in one sequence and just look at the damage counter the Anvil Hammer completely trivializes this fight the golden hippo then is up next right away in his charge you can already jump attack him for some nice damage into a charge attack and there it is The Stance break and the guy will be broken for quite some time after you have stance broken him so you can travel all around the world start a family in the meantime if you want to do so but then when you arrive at the point for the critical hit it’s over again for this hippo the critical hit will take a massive portion of his HP as you see and then just finish him off with another charge attack or two here it also becomes evident that we can in fact Poise through some attacks due to our setup as you see with the second charge attack we’re basically just ignoring his spell and then hitting him for a very quick kill Mesmer is next up right away get to work by utilizing dash of War for a quick stance break and a lot of damage and by the time you know it our snake eyy has already fallen down on his knees begging for mercy we don’t give him that though no we go for the critical hit into the charge attack here and as you see look at the damage counter it’s rising faster than present day inflation Mesmer gets completely dwarfed in phase one here with the Anvil Hammer which is ironic since he has actually quite some resistance to fire as well but this proves my point yet again that it’s not just about damage but also the Poise damage and utility of the weapon that makes it so good in phase two you can then start off a charge attack and ultimately it should be like two more charge attacks and maybe a jump attack for the sty points woven in in total to finish him off after Mesmer it’s in time for the one and only Horsemen the commander himself and apparently this guy isn’t really winning a lot of popularity contests we have to stance break this guy as fast as possible with the amount of abuse that he’s enforcing upon the donkey that he’s riding the porting can’t even breathe but as you see with our little very big hammer we already get rid of like 80% of his HP bar Just moment after he charge onto us with such confidence it’s really just bayback but then after he starts doing shrooms and goes on his purple trip pretty much you just want to run away and get your horse and show who’s the real Horseman right here come back in with a mounted charge attack right up the bomb and you see we also have damage when we fight mounted then jump attack uh jump attack and done the pesent KN then oh boy do I have something for you with this build for this fight all these guys charge at you when they enter the fight right which is ironic since we’re actually the kings of charging charge ing attacks that is utilizing set attacks makes sure that within mere seconds we have already stance broken this weird looking cow on a horse baited in donut glaze the critical hit then does so much damage it just feels too good to get it all in water drips Emoji all over my screen and then finally another charge attack to end this fight let’s just call it complete domination we have this random Invader to that made the cut I don’t know why but here is his 3 seconds of Fame say hi to the camera and then he tanks an anal Hammer right to the skull and no one will survive that next up is the big finger thing boss the fingering fingers of fingers themselves two hits and you know what word I’m searching for right now stands a break you can do a nasty combo of charg attacks into the critical hit into even more charge attacks as this guy is uh yeah pretty big and you can’t really miss his body but you get the hardest hits if you aim for It Center so definitely do that it’s the weird blop thing with yeah even more fingers so make sure to focus on that with your toy to make sure this guy stops fingering everybody when he goes up and down you can then also use the ash of War for the sustain damage again and that way you’ll get another stance break as well it doesn’t really matter if you get hit in the process of doing so because you control the flow of this fight extremely well with this build anyways and yeah another boss done then we have the pink scorpion boss a fan favorite maybe that can give you some of the worst STDs of all time if you linger too close to it let’s say charge attacks and smithing AR Spears is just going to be the big boy combo here if you hit your first two charge attacks with the envil hammer you can then right away do nuclear damage while stance breaking it then to and you know what happens next crits bonus damage snowballing we’re snowballing falling out of control when it starts moving around like a typical insect or reptile that is being dowed with acid you know what to do smiting our Spears to get that guaranteed damage in a few of the good old Spears piercing through from below will cause another stance break and then it’s winner’s time yet again and then you can start again and hold another party now for the final boss of the DLC I would highly recommend to grab the golden bre Talisman for the extra negation to Holy damage and to use the black flame protection incantation through our faith investment in the first phase you get a free hit with a attack into him after he does his very cool dive thing but then also by using the smithing AR Spears a bunch of times you can trade very effectively here for a stance break into a crit into another charge tack basically and then doing that you will transfer over to phase two now phase two you know I’m just going to say good luck if you can see through the visual clutter and abundance of Super Saiyan anime effects then you can obviously Anvil Hammer him through a mixture of your move set and S of War best tip I can give you is a Dodge but also to trade whever needed with your s of War this sustain damage is really good here and you just chalk potions after that because remember it’s a war of attrition with the ash of War you can then Chip Away several thousands of HP in one go then use your charge attacks when he’s recovering from one of his attacks you can probably get at least two stance breaks going in phase two I would say I only got one it’s really just a matter of how you sequence your Poise damage and if you get the room to actually sequence it quickly but if you do so then you can definitely get multiple Critical Hits going I got the first one quite late in this face but when you do so it is a huge moment of tranquility and mental recovery and after this fight yeah you have done it you have done it with the Anvil Hammer BR and as you see the anval hammer is Peak gaming just look at the aesthetic of this thing and that on its own should sell you the weapon it’s also like a cool alternative to the mage build that I made in my last video from sorceries and Magic due to the ultimate new Bonk Weapon by the way I censored all the Clips in that video due to preventing spoilers but as you can see here right now the uncensored version of those clips that build completely wreck too so the Variety in builds for shadow of the Tre is starting to ramp up but this build will follow up very well to the strength builds that I made for the base game like the ones revolving around the giant Crusher so if you’re stuck in the base game I’ll put some strength builds in the description for you but let’s not digress too much with that we have come to the conclusion of our anal Hammer build and the play style that I’ve made for it with our fate investment you can also technically run a bunch of incantations if you want but I have some cool Fai builds coming soon for that so I like to use this weapon as a pure strength option really where the Fate investment is essentially used as a crypto strength buffer to get huge AR going at lower levels that being said fate does give us the option to use a bunch of useful offensive and defensive Buffs like golden bow flame gu me strength black flame protection and more and if you want to know more about all that stuff and just how to get a better experience in Shadow of the earth three watch my 12 mistakes to avoid right now video as well to be fully up to date on that also I actually go into an alternative for this setup in that video too revolving around deflecting which is actually a really busted play style as well so so go ahead and watch that video and my Mage video right now to [Music] [Music]

What’s the new hardest hitting weapon in Elden Ring post DLC? Well ask the Grizzly Bear himself, a powerful warrior that possesses said weapon and will carry you to victory.
In his quest to become the hardest hitting monster and fighter of all time, he crafted a weapon so powerful that it can pancake anything he fights.
To even wield the massive unit in his hands you have to some unrivaled strength, let alone use it as a weapon. They don’t call this guy the Grizzly Bear for no reason.
