I’m still using my old family tv from 2010 lol, and i gotta upgrade it to fully enjoy ps5’s visual capabilities. Before recommending me anything please keep in mind that my budget is tight and i usually play games on performance mode so i don’t think a 4k tv will benefit me as much. My overall budget is 300$

I’d still get a 4K tv.
Get one of the newer 4k Samsung tv’s so that you can have gamepass without actually buying hardware from the completion.

The Sony bravia 4k TVs are gorgeous and bonus points for brand continuity.
If you’re willing to switch it up, go for a monitor. I use a Lenovo curved 32 inch monitor.
They have better pixel density although you may have to also buy a soundbar or PC speakers.
Once you go to a monitor you won’t go back to a TV trust me.
Got a LG C1 a couple of years ago and it still knocks my breath aways. So definitely an OLED, LG’s are pretty cheap for what you get
Depending on size you could get a quality Samsung QLED or even a Sony one of last years models. If u dont care much about brands than there are great TVs by TCL and Hisense especially for the price.

I have a Sony Bravia X95 series TV. I’ve been quite pleased with it. If you until they roll out new models, the prior year’s model is generally still easy to find and on a pretty good deal. I ended up getting a year old model for about 40% off.
