I’ve never owned an Xbox before until now (a friend gave me their Xbox One S because they upgraded) so I don’t know much about it.
I want to buy this specific game from my childhood: Pac-Man World 2 and I found one online but I’m not sure if it’s compatible with this Xbox. Can anyone help out?

Look up the Xbox Backwards compatible list.
I don’t believe it’s compatible with Xbox One onwards. There are only about 50 Original Xbox games that are compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles and I don’t think PacMan World 2 is one of them.
It looks like it isn’t backwards compatible on Xbox 360 either, only PacMan World 3 is.
If you want to play this specific game you’d need an actual original Xbox, or you’d have to try an emulator on PC like CXBX reloaded or Xemu.
