Both excellent games, but Nier Automata changed my life.
On god one of the greatest games ever.
Also 2B alone is one of the best designed female characters ever.
Lara Croft aint got shit on my B.
As for SMT, I mean it’s an Atlus game and there isn’t a single SMT, Persona or stand alone game (like Catherine and soon to be Metaphor) that hasn’t been a fantastic experience.
But, Nier Automata is a masterpiece.

Nier: Automata, not because one’s better than the other or anything but I feel like it’s a much shorter game and is a much more explosive adventure sorta. The real time combat will definitely help with the overall explosiveness of it. Haven’t played Shin Megami Tensei V yet but I think it’s much bigger time investment and something like Persona 5 where you REALLY have to get into the world to get the most out of it. Play NieR first I’d say.
