I turned on my ps4 and my controller won’t let me select anything or move and the light is white

My PlayStation was working fine from 2017 and onwards there was no issues but today I turned on my PlayStation and the controller light was just white. I didn’t know what to do so I plugged the charger in and it still didn’t work so I turned on my other controller and same problem, then I turned my PlayStation off and the controller light wont turn off. Please help
