I prefer the Xbox 360 era since that’s when they had more of a purpose and could be used in games and stuff.
The current Avatars aren’t bad but they just feel kinda pointless.

360 avatars. I feel they were just designed to compete with the Nintendo Miis at the time but I didn’t mind them.
They don’t serve a purpose now it seems

The new avatars are better but the implementation is piss poor. I completely forgot the avatars still exist until now.
It’s just another thing that MS dissolved because it’s too “video gamey”. The Xbox dashboard isn’t about celebrating being a part of Xbox and the community anymore. It’s designed to force your eyes onto the ads and game store.
