Imagine the announcement for this remake had been shown at E3 in front of a live audience

I’m sure it would have been great for however many people were in the room but..

Idk, I’m kinda sad for the end of E3 in the sense that when I was younger and buying the magazines to get all the news that was released there, it’s a bit redundant nowadays for most people, especially in the internet age when announcements just happen whenever.

I’m sure the hype was as equal as it would have been as 99.9% of viewers would have been watching it via stream anyway.

The live audience in question would be a bunch of journalists. I don’t think it would have the Twilight Princess reaction.

The E3 live events from Nintendo was already not that good during the Wii era.

Even if E3 still existed this wouldn’t happen. Nintendo hadn’t done a live showcase at E3 since 2012.

This is a remake of a GameCube title so I really don’t think it would get anything but a few woos from the crowd
