I pictured this game to be kind of a lower budget Spinoff Smash game that reused assets from Smash Ultimate but also trying to be its own thing.
A lot of new characters added here such are Semi-Clone or Echo Fighter of male characters that wasn't in the game to cut cost and time in development. Roll is a Semi-Clone of Mega Man, Sakura is an Echo Fighter of Ryu and Cutie Terry is just Terry in a female skin for example.
