Don’t Sleep On These Amazing Elden Ring DLC Weapons… (Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree)
there are a ton of amazing weapons in the Elden ring shadow of the earthy DLC so many in fact that you might be sleeping on some very powerful tools from blades that can be used for spell costing to what I think is the most fun weapon in the game let’s go over these weapons and how to get them while some new weapons are cleverly hidden away there are also some that drop from enemies in the DLC one I want to talk about in particular is the lizard great swword it’s a giant Stone lizard that you use as a sword so if you’re not interested already I really don’t know what to tell you jokes aside this weapon actually has a ranged attack too as a heavy attack will fire the fork tongue from the tip of the blade at an enemy that’s already pretty nice but if you then change the ash of War on this weapon to give it bleed buildup you now have a pretty powerful great sword with the ability to apply bleed from range if you don’t have an ash of war with bleed on it yet there’s an easy one in the base game at Fort height over here on the map you can also try different scalings and Elemental damage type depending on what Ash you pick and thanks to the low stat requirements this lizard gr sword can work in almost any build and you might recognize this weapon if you visited the DLC catacomb dungeons as it’s a weapon used by a new type of gargoyle imp it also drops from them so we’re going to need to farm for it and luckily there’s an easy and accessible imp Farm in the starting region go to the full grift catacombs from the castle front side of Grace by simply following the road there from the Grace Point inside the dungeon you’ll find an imp literally in the next room so just let him poo stick his way to rewards you kill him see if he drops the weapon and if not go back to the grace and sit down to respawn him it didn’t take long for the weapon to drop from me and if you want you can even farm for a second one so you can dual wield these either way don’t sleep on the Rock lizard as with a few changes it can become a very powerful weapon another weapon I absolutely recommend you try out is the Smith script Hammer not only because it’s good because it is but also because it’s one of the most fun weapons to use in Elder ring this massive Hammer can be thrown by pressing the heavy attack button and while the windup takes a bit the damage is absolutely worth it plus it knocks most regular enemies on their back allowing you to run in and finish them off it’s also a surprisingly versatile weapon as you can change the scaling of it or make it deal Elemental damage by applying a different Ash of War but yeah this heavy range play style is quickly becoming one of my favorites and the requirements on it aren’t that bad either so I reckon most people can use this weapon straight when they pick it up it’s not that hard to get either first we want to unlock the ancient ruins base Grace Point which you do by heading into a little cave over here close to the mor ruins and then hanging left until you enter the Valley from there Follow The Path North there are a lot of enemies but luckily you can just ignore them and then enter this building to find Tao’s ruined Forge head inside follow the path and then we want to do a little jumping once you reach this crack in the floor jump to the other side of it then use the giant beam in the middle of the room to cross again on your left will be a lava blob who’s guarding the body with the Smith scrip hammer on it and you actually find many amazing weapons in these new Forge dungeons in the DLC as the ancient meteoric or great sword is also a must have now this one is definitely a weapon for strength builds as the requirement of 35 means you need decent strength to even wield this weapon in two hands let alone one but it more than makes up for it with its amazing weapon skill white light charge pressing the button once makes you charge forward with a lunch that has some pretty impressive range pressing the button again triggers a detonation of white light dealing heavy damage to nearby enemies so you have this massive great sword that allows you to quickly cover the distance to an enemy and can trigger damaging explosions when it connects and if anyone’s Still Standing after that hitting them with a sword this big will of course also deal some heavy damage and as I said we need to head to a forge dungeon to get this weapon this time it’s the ruined Forge of Starfall Bost which is to the southwest of the mor ruins Grace again ignore the enemies the entrance to this one is at the back of the building once inside head into the first room go across the bridge and pull the lever on your left run through the hallway you just unlocked take a right to enter another hallway and keep running up to the lava blob as there’s a ladder next to it we want to take the next room is pretty crowded but we just want to head up the rubble and enter the Hall drop down on the bridge below you cross it and turn left to find another lever pull it once to lower the door then pull it again and fall down you want to jump on top of the door so it carries you up and then from there you can walk straight to the forge activate it and grab the ancient meteoric or great swword and by the way if you’ve enjoyed the video so far would be awesome if you could leave a like And subscribe to not miss our next shadow of the earthy video now shadow of the earth tree is also providing spellcasters with a lot of new options and not just with new sorceries and incantations there’s a really cool new weapon called the Garian sorcery sword that has a pretty neat unique feature it’s already a good weapon as it’s a thrusting sword one of the few weapon categories that can keep attacking when you raise your Shield obviously it also deals magical damage and skills with intelligence but the real kicker is the heavy attack which is not an attack at all but rather uses the blade as a catalyst to cost your sorceries with so whatever spell you have selected will be triggered and costed from your right hand with R2 or RT allowing you to seamlessly mix sorceries and stabs from the blade so if you’re looking for a Spell blade themed build this weapon is a perfect fit and it’s super easy to get to we need to reach a secluded area in Castle Enis that can be reached by dropping down from the scadu elas from the high road cross site of Grace look for a body of water to the west where a spectral giant is also wandering around face the South and right to the end of the body of water then drop down into the castle on the right side of the waterfall and then it’s simply a matter of walking up to the chest and looting the caran sorcery sword another very unique DLC weapon is the repeat crossbow I think many of us have been traumatized by the black jail Knight using this thing which is why it’s extra satisfying that we get to use this rapid fire crossbow ourselves the rapid fire mode is actually the weapon art for this thing if you default fire it it will just work like a regular crossbow but with the weapon skill button held down you will rapidly fire 12 projectiles and you can fire both your primary and secondary ammo type depending on your follow-up input so while regular arrows already deal some big damage explosive Arrow or lightning arrows can wreak even more Havoc the range on it is also insane because it’s a crossbow so you can deal High burst damage from pretty far with this weapon equipped the only obvious downside is that it eats through ammunition so make sure to stock up and bolts every now and then at the nomadic merchants in the base game this one in the Altus region specifically has an unlimited supply of regular and lightning bolts so he’s a good stop for that and yeah this weapon is also a pretty easy get although it can get a bit chaotic we’re starting from the mor ruins again and we just followed the road South you’ll soon realize there’s a pretty big battle going on between Mesmer soldiers and a dragon and we are riding straight into the thick of it the repeater crossbow can be found on a body in the back right of the fighting area but it can be hard to SPO due to the high grass and of course the battle going on in the background so just ster clear of the enemies while looking around and grab yourself a very powerful new ranged weapon now while this video is about individual weapons there’s also a weapon type that I think deserves some more love those being the perfumer bottles you can actually find an amazing Ash of War exclusive to this weapon type called rolling Sparks that throws out a line of perfume dust with a delayed explosion now one reason this is nice is because the throw has much more range than your other attacks Bary charged heavy maybe but it’s especially useful against larger creatures and bosses as each cloud of dust triggers its own detonation so it can hit the same enemy multiple times the way you get it is pretty simple too you first to unlock the shadow keep main gate site of Grace from there you want to head to this part of the war camp and since we’re approaching from behind the furnace Golem won’t bother us then we want to take care of the perfumer enemies in this area take out a ranged weapon and look up it can be kind of difficult to spot but there’s a flying teardrop Scarab here that will drop down if you hit it with a projectile run to where it lands and kill it don’t forget to roll back to dodge the explosion and the rolling Sparks Ash of war is yours now there are different kinds of perfume bottles and the cool thing about rolling Sparks is that it uses the effect from whatever bottle you are using because of this I highly recommend you pair it with the chilling perfume bottles as that means you can also use it to build up the powerful frostbite status effect reaching this one is a bit more complicated as you need to head through the dragon pit dungeon which is located over here on the map and can be reached by following the road from the castle front Grace Point not too complicated except for the fact that there’s a seeming dead end at this part where you you just need to jump all the way down and listen I know it’s a meme with these games but trust me you want to jump down here nothing bad will happen to you defeat the boss and then you’ll be able to reach the dragon Terminus Grace Point from there follow this route to the giant dead Dragon cross it on the right side and keep going behind the dragon is a hidden small region of the map where you want to keep heading west until you reach the Lor’s jail which can be a bit tricky so I’ll just show you the route on screen [Music] once inside turn left before the first Lo door and grab the key from the chest in the second room in the hallway go back to that lock door open it climb down and enter the ice covered area ahead to your right will be a room where an enemy walks
